

			Hana* con Info -- the basics What is it? Come and join us for the first ever Hanacon! This is a White Day/J-pop/J-rock/Dance/Themed...thing? Our goal is to try and cram the goodness of a weekend convention into four hours of fun. On the menu of events you'll see an anime room, a manga room, a costume contest, and skits. Plus, there are a few more surprises when you come. They wouldn't be surprises if we told you! Don't worry, there will be concessions for sale, so you won't get dehydrated or too hungry. When & Where Jenks Public Schools has been so kind to let us use their West Intermediate Gym. Hanacon will be on March 8, 2008 from 10am-11:00pm in the gymnasium, at Jenks West Intermediate 909 North Adams, Jenks OK 74037. Click here for a map to Hana con How Much? This should fit your budget nicely. Admission is fifteen (15) dollars at the door, and Ten (10) dollars in advance, by March 1, 2008. See the Pre-registration button for more information. Who Are We? Ok, we're just a bunch of students trying to spread the anime/manga joy to the world. Everyone is welcome, but costumes are GREATLY encouraged. The dance is handi-cap accessible right down to the restrooms. Please follow the rules because we reserve the right to remove anyone who has violated them. Rules Ahhh, the omnipotent rules. As in any event we have some rules, we don't ask much but, please follow them. For those pirates out there we separated the absolute rules and the more or less guidelines Absolute Rules: Keep costumes rated PG, but the source doesn't have to be. Obey all the posted signs If it has wires and looks expensive, don’t touch it Respect everyone and their costume. Be kind and courteous especially when people are presenting their skits. Prop weapon have to be checked at the information desk. Attendees may not smoke or use tobacco products, consume alcohol, or use any other mind-altering substance for the duration of the convention. We reserve the right to permanently remove any attendee who is in inappropriate attire, is suggesting sexual activities, or has violated any of the rules. Guidelines: Only staged violence (skits). Ask before you glomp. Be aware that there is a dance planned, so please dress accordingly. Accidents happen Try to keep skits under three (3) minutes
